WE HAVE ARRIVED IN CHINA!

We are finally here. We had a very smooth takeoff, flight and landing. We couldn't have asked for a better ride especially with my anxiety about flying. Unfortunately without bad luck we would have no luck at all. Tony's seat on the plane did not recline. Can you imagine sitting in an upright position for 14 hours? Yup, not fun at all. And he didn't want to switch with me because he loves me and I was more comfortable with the extra space by the window. Than the TV's didn't work for over an hour and than Tony's earphones broke. Other than those few bumps we made it to China to Beijing. The weather here is not nearly as cold as the morning of our flight out of Newark, but none the less still cold. There's a lot of smog because of the pollution but through all the smog you can still see the beauty of China. The mountain range views that we were fortunate to see through our cabin window were absolutely breathe taking. We are very tired as we lost an entire day and it was difficult to sleep on the plane. But we are going to head for some authentic Chinese food in a few minutes and than we are off to bed. We have an early day tomorrow as it's orientation day and we will have a half day of touring. So by the grace of God we are here in China and well and we will update this blog daily. We may experience some difficulty in uploading pictures because internet is expensive in our room. We are currently blogging for free from the lobby. But be patient, we will find a way to upload pictures. So over and out for now. Thanks for your prayers for our safe flight.

Love to all,

still a family of 2 but not for long

I am so happy to know you both arrived safely in China. Needless to say I spent the day praying and watching the clock. I said many rosaries for Deanna b/c I wanted her to feel the peace of Jesus. All those little things that went wrong are only testings that you offer up to the Lord. Counting the days till you arrive home with Halainah Grace. Can't wait to smother her with kisses. I will keep you in my prayers. May the angels surround and protect you with their invisible wall of protection.
God be with you.
Love you much,
Mom

We love you, miss you and will continue to pray for a smooth process in gaining access to your precious daughter, and a safe return home.

Was happy to hear that the flight was smooth, was worried about you both. Uncle Mario and I are thinking about you, we love you much and can't wait for all three of you to be home. Enjoy this time together, this experience is a once in a lifetime...you have waited so long and your time has finally come... give Halainah a big hug (a christopher hug) and lots of kisses from both of us!

Deanna and Tony, we have been so blessed following this journey with you and seeing how God is working in your lives. We shared your story in our Bible study group tonight and I am sending the blog to them to see. Everyone was so excited to hear about your beautiful lives. I sent a message last week, but see it didn't go through, so hopefully you will get this one.
