PICNIC IN THE PARK

Tony has to work this weekend. Yuck! So we decided that we needed to spend some fun family time tonight since we will have limited time this weekend. So we piled into the car and drove to a beautiful park about 15 minutes away from our house. We made sandwiches and packed some snacks and drinks. Halainah heard all of the kids playing as soon as we found a picnic bench. So needless to say, she wanted to venture to the playground and play of course. But lucky for us that she loves food, it wasn't hard to get her mind off of the other children. It was a fantastic Friday evening. Sandwiches always taste better outside in the fresh air...wonder why that is. Halainah played for hours enjoying her freedom to run wherever she wanted. She never strayed too far from Momma and Dada. Once Halainah was all played out, we took a stroll along the parks perimeter. We stumbled upon a beach volleyball court. So we all took our shoes off and jumped into the sand. Halainah has a sandbox in our backyard but the court was huge compared to it. We talked about our upcoming vacation and can't wait for Halainah to dip her cute little feet into the ocean water for the very first time. It was a perfect evening and wouldn't want to spend it any other way.

Well gotta run. It's late here and we have to be up early to pile in the car once again so that we can be fingerprinted for our little treasure #2. God will provide...I keep repeating that to myself...God will provide.

Nat...does Halainah's dress look familiar? Thanks so much, she looks beautiful in it. And it's a perfect beach dress so it is definitely going to North Carolina with us!
