BLACK AND WHITE WEDNESDAY - "HELLO JESUS"

Happy Black and White Wednesday!

This week I chose a picture that was taken on Easter Sunday last year. At that point, it was 3 months since we returned home from China. Halainah looked everywhere but at the camera and was mesmerized by Jesus.

Since we are in the Season of Lent, I thought that this picture was a perfect fit...again I cheated with a touch of color.

May the Lord bless us,
protect us from all evil
and bring us to everlasting life.
Amen.

Dee,
First I just love what you did with that photo...Beautiful Lainey in awe of OUR GREAT GOD...
Simply beautiful...
Second, thanks so much for your kind words that you left me. They were so touching and I know you understand..and I felt for the first time someone put into words how I felt..
EVEN though it hurts immensely I DO NOT want it to go away..It feels like as if I will be abandoning him if I do not hurt for him...like perhaps it can be viewed as I love him less...
So..while the pain is so hard...it is mine...all I have of him(right now)
I know this sounds nuts and you worded it much better..but you definitely got it.
and I am so thankful...
Miss you all..Hope to see you all soon...Send my love..Annmarie

Tony,
I know exactly what you mean..I go over and over it..Why did I NOT spend more time...give more of myself..
................
But, mostly even thru all that guilt..my heart just MISSES him.
I did not know it was humanly possible to miss someone that much.
I do not think I ever truly grasped how Dee felt about losing her precious mom until now.. my heart aches for her enormous loss.
............................
I know what you mean about the baseball..with TJ playing and really excelling at it..I long to share it with him...
I was in Kohls the other day..and I walked past this frame that said GRANDPA and in it was a picture of a grandpa and grandson with a bat in the boys hands..I just broke down..thinking..Why did I never take that pic?..and now its too late! When TJ plays and does so well..I like to think daddy has a hand in it..they just told us that TJ plays like a little Jeter...oh how I wanted to share that with daddy...He would be so proud of him..
I know he is looking at all our little ones and he is one PROUD grandpa..but my humanness wants to see him enjoying them.

I love you guys immeasurably..and even though I have not seen you recently..know you all are never far from my thoughts and prays.
I'm especially praying for a Mei-Mei for Halainah.
Your family is simply beautiful and I have this deep love for it..I guess b/c it took so MUCH for you guys to get there.
It makes me so happy to see you all so very happy!
Love you always and forever..
your sister and sil...and proud Aunt to Lainey...

I just realized that my reply's to your comments have been going to a no reply address!! I've probably emailed you 6 times!! What a goose! Ok, now to answer your questions :) Lexi's first Pettiskirt was a Kaiya Eve. (The light pink one shown hanging in her bedroom on the "room" page and shown wearing it standing by the picnic table on my side bar. It is beautiful, purchased it at a local boutique. So that just led to me wanting them in ever color and since they are quite pricey I felt that would be wasteful so I searched the internet with a fine tooth comb until I finally found the same ultra soft organza that Kiaya Eve uses. It takes like 30 yards to make the gathered parts making it the fullest sweetest little pettiskirt ever! I love the 2 tone look especially. Like the Red and white one we wore for Valentines Day. Lexi's Baby Sister outfit you liked is just Gymboree. (I think you might want to hurry and snatch one up to put away for Halainah's MeiMei) And finally, thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your sweet sweet comments. They always make me smile! I am so sorry that you have not gotten my replies. Mary
