Saying that if she is having attachment problems, that could be why she is freaking out about daycare. Even non-adopted children don't reach a natural independence from their parents until about 3, so I just thought I would throw these ideas out there!Alexnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-488912824832716450.post-47489597500035217202012-06-15T15:24:30.872-04:002012-06-15T15:24:30.872-04:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-488912824832716450.post-15074764797192423262012-06-15T15:22:17.562-04:002012-06-15T15:22:17.562-04:00I wanted to leave you a comment about something yo...I wanted to leave you a comment about something you mentioned... You wrote about Ava and preschool, as well as her running up to strangers... I read alot of blogs with older child adoption and one thing with them is that a child who will go to anyone shortly after being adopted (older child) isn't good, because it shows that they haven't properly attached to their parents. Ava was older when you adopted her, and you spoke about how fragile she was, could this be it? Also, when it comes to daycare that could be a problem... She may not be secure yet, as she hasn't been home long, and she may be afraid that she is being left. Like I said, I am just throwing some ideas out there...Alexnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-488912824832716450.post-87765413730353556392012-06-05T22:45:33.919-04:002012-06-05T22:45:33.919-04:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-488912824832716450.post-40591546428642899452012-02-06T22:15:03.870-05:002012-02-06T22:15:03.870-05:00Love the update.
