I think Tony and I decided together that we don't want to end Halainah's adoption journey in the blog world despite technical difficulties. I have been working on restoring our pictures from the bottom up. I have not been in the mood lately to add new posts as it's spring and there are a gazillion things to do around the house, inside and out. Tony and I share a passion for our yard and garden and fish pond and waterfall pond. We are trying to clean everything up from a long winter not to mention that we didn't properly close everything down because we were too busy preparing for our miracle. We have a lot of work to do. I am also currently doing a 4 day diet which I call the "Torture diet." I am on the end of day 3 and I want a huge bag of peanut M&M's thanks to my cousins Billy and Alyssa. Apparently you are supposed to lose 12-18 pounds in 4 days. I know, I know these diets never work and if they do you gain the weight back. But I feel as though I need to prove to myself that I still have the will power for these foolish diets. And I also just want to see if it's true...you know the whole 12-18 pound thing. I lost 3 pounds the first day and 2 the next. I will see what tomorrow brings but halfway through the diet I have lost 5 pounds. So not worth it if you are wondering. I am hungry and I want those darn peanut M&M's! Anyway, we are still not sure if we want to stay on blogger or move to wordpress or other choices but in the mean time we will keep this blog going and I will try to restore all pictures. For all those wondering, Halainah keeps getting cuter and sweeter every day. I love her random kisses. I must get about 20 a day. We thank god for her everyday.

So glad, I was sad did not want to see you go.
How is it possible that they get cuter everyday but somehow it happens.
Good luck with the diet. I have been doing Weight Watchers for the past 3 weeks and am down 4 whole pounds. I was really hoping for much more.

I was so glad to see a post from you this morning! I know just what you mean about wanting to spend the time out in the garden. I have been doing the same thing for the past week or so. In fact, I need to go out today and get my last 4 plants in the ground before the rain comes. Luckily, the previous owner left the front mostly a blank slate so I didn't have too terribly much to do. Although, once I started digging, I discovered there was much more rock in the flower beds than I had hoped for, which made the planting go slower. And I'm still debating on whether to remove two bushes that were already out there. But, of course, it is all worth it in the end! I just really got into gardening last year when we landscaped the old house after we put it on the market. I love picking the plants, putting them in, and going out each morning to see how they've grown.
ANYWAY, I'm so happy you checked in and hope to hear more from you both soon! Can't wait to see new pictures of Halainah ;)
