I feel such a huge sense of accomplishment this evening. I have been working on our China trip video for 2 months and I am finally finished. When we first started our adoption journey I would sit up late at night and watch every single video I could find on youtube that had to do with adoption or gotcha day. Believe me when I say, I have seen them all. Ironically, I did not choose youtube to host my video for many reasons.

I had no idea how I would even start to make my very own video so I let a year go by without starting it. About two months ago, I finally sat down and started to create. I put about 20 long hours into my project and POOF...within seconds, the program crashed and I lost all of my hard work. I was in tears and Tony felt terrible. Not only did the program crash, but my whole lap top crashed and the hard drive was destroyed.

Sweet hubby bought a new hard drive, fixed the laptop and found a new program for me to use. And what a blessing in disguise it was! Although, I must say I did throw a temper tantrum like a 2 year old...LOL. But the program I finally used is fantastic...I love it and once you got the hang of it...was simple to use.

Anyway, enough of my blabbering...If you would like to watch our journey please press play below.

or click here: will open it up through Vimeo and you can watch it on a larger scale. I do have to warn is 14 minutes long!

Hi Dee,
What a beautiful video. You should be so proud...What a tribute to your love, the love of a husband and wife and the love you longed to give to a baby.
You are all so blessed to have one another. I am so happy for you and Tony that after what seemed like a are completed by Halainah...God is so good and only he knows where your journey will take you...but, I for one love getting to be a part of it.
Kiss my sweet niece for me..
Send all my love...and hope to see you all soon.

Beautiful video. What a wonderful way to capture those days. I so loved those days of first meeting and getting to know my little ones.

oh Deanna ~
What a BEAUTIFUL tribute of the journey to your daughter. It was neat to see this video just before we travel. My emotions are SO raw right now, so this definitely struck some cords with me. So special!! I am just THRILLED to see you are going back again! Praise God... I will be back sometime during your journey to 'chip-in' for you, too! Thank you SO much for your giving heart... you gift is accepted with MUCH gratitude, and I pray it is returned back unto you ten fold...better yet, 100 fold!!! :) Thanks again for your generosity and you kind words. We are SO excited to hold our little Sweetie in our arms...and even more after viewing your video tribute to precious Halainah!!

Love and Hugs,
~ Tanya
